Here are six public swimming pools scattered across Nairobi that cost less than Sh500 ($5) you can take a dive in.
#1. Nyayo National Stadium
Located 3km from the city center, Nyayo national Stadium has a swimming open for public for a small fee.

It is only costs Sh100 ($1) to swim at the pool.
#2. Kasarani Aquatic Stadium
This is one of the best equipped pools in Nairobi and their facilities are world class.
The facility has: One Baby Pool; 1.25m deep Warm-up or training pool; 1.5m deep Competition (Olympic size) Pool and 6m deep Diving Pool with 3 springboards and up to 10m high diving platform.
Prices range between Sh100 - 200, (sh1 - $2).

#3. YMCA Nairobi Central Hostel
If you are within town and you don’t feel like traveling out of the CBD or waiting for someone and you want to pass the time, you can make your way to YMCA Nairobi Central Hostel located next to University of Nairobi hostels along near state house road for a nice cold swim.
It only costs Sh100 ($1) per day for non-members.
YMCA is a private club so the swimming pool is very clean and well maintained.
#4. Bellevue school

This is another cheap public swimming pool mainly serving residents of Mombasa road.
It is located in South C, Mugoya Avenue and only charges Sh100 ($1) for adults and Sh50 for children.
#5. Impala Club
If you reside along Ngong Road then Impala Club swimming pool may be ideal for you.

Located between Adams Arcade and the Junction mall, Impala Club has an outdoor public pool.
The charges are friendly and it costs Sh300 ($3) for adults and Sh200 ($2) for children.
#6. Chester house swimming pool
Chester house rooftop swimming pool is another great option for anyone in town.
It is located on Koinange Street and is accessible to the public.
