A former Kenyan pathologist has been charged for stealing a heart barely a month after facing a similar offence
Dr Njau denied the three charges facing him including stealing, removing and destroying a body part of a deceased person.
Dr Moses Njau is said to have stolen the heart that came to his possession by the virtue of his profession as the chief pathologist. This happened during a Postmortem exercise on the body of the deceased.
He denied the three charges facing him including stealing, removing and destroying a body part of a deceased person.
The court granted him a Sh500, 000 cash bail.
Similar offence
The charges comes barely a month after the pathologist was charged with a similar offence in a Nairobi court.
State prosecutor Claire Muriithi did not object on the bail terms but asked the court to release the accused according to terms of the law like any other citizen.
The case is set to be heard on August 6, 2018.
