Stop using toilet papers, its unhygienic!
It is basic toilet practice to do your business (or rather take a dump) then clean up using toilet paper.
But apparently, this practice is an ineffectual way of cleaning ourselves and could be doing us more harm than good.
This is according to an expert who has warned that toilet papers are unhygienic.
Rose George, author of 'The Big Necessity: The Unmentionable World of Human Waste and Why It Matters', told Tonic: "I find it rather baffling that millions of people are walking around with dirty anuses while thinking they are clean.
"Toilet paper moves s**t, but it doesn't remove it."
Wiping with toilet roll alone could leave poop behind, and excessive use could even lead to health issues such as anal fissures and urinary tract infections.
In other countries such as South Korea, Japan, Egypt, Greece and Italy, they opt for using bidets rather than paper.
Bidets are considered to be more environmentally friendly and the water helps to fully clean the bum.
