Mr Kayihura on Thursday called out for registration of all girls/women in relationship in a bid to mitigate the cases of serial murders in Entebbe.
While addressing residents of Katabi in Entebbe, Mr Kayihura noted that cheating is one of the causes of the mysterious deaths.
“Addressing the residents of Katabi in Entebbe today, Kayihura says cheating is one of the causes of Wakiso women serial murders that has seen over 24 women brutally killed in the last 4 months in Wakiso district”,The Observer reported.
The IGP remarked that the only way this murders can be controlled is by having all girls in relationships registering their partners to make the police aware of the people involved in various relationships in the area.
He however did not state how the registration will be conducted. The news has not been well received by a number of residents from the area, terming the IGP‘s suggestion as an intrusion into one’s life.
