This iconic photo from protests that marred Raila's arrival has won the heart of Kenyans

Against all odds.

A photo captured during Friday's protests that marred Opposition leader Raila Odinga's grand arrival into the country has caught the attention of Kenyans online.

The iconic photo shows a man who was caught in the midst of the clashes and seemed to be resilient in the face of water cannons and tear gas cannisters lobbed by the police at the protesters.

A Kenyan flag is also seen in the picture in what one Twitter user said would make a "perfect movie cover."

Opposition-allied supporters clashed with anti-riot police on Friday after the arrival of National Super Alliance leader (NASA) Raila Odinga into the country.

The supporters had gone to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to receive their leader upon arrival from the US where he was on an official trip for 10 days.

Police however barred them from accessing the airport with Inspector General of police Joseph Boinett saying they would "risk jeopardizing the safety of air operators, passengers, and other airport users."

Here are Kenyans' reactions to the iconic photo captured by AFP news agency:
