According to the official results, Kenyatta garnered 8,203,290 (54.27%) votes against his closest political rival NASA Presidential candidate, Raila Odinga's 6,762,224 (44.74%) votes to secure his second and last term in office.
President Uhuru also attained the constitutional requirement of attaining at least 25% of votes in at least 24 counties by securing 25% in 35 counties.
International election monitors and the African Union have announced the election was free and fair.
