The Real Madrid star invited Rio Ferdinand and cameras into his €5.4million home for a personal interview last week. While there, Ronaldo showed off his incredible wall of football boots.

The latest pair the 32-year-old has helped launch are called 'The Chapter 5: Cut to Brilliance' and became available on the Nike store on September 29 for a cool £269.95.

The boots feature a diamond-inspired graphic, multi-coloured knitting, a CR7 logo and the date of Ronald's Madrid debut.

Speaking about the first time he slipped on a pair of Nike Mercurials, Ronaldo said: "I was 16 years old. I looked at the boots like they were a diamond. I said, 'wow, unbelievable'.

"As soon as I started to play with those boots I never changed, until today.

"Because they fit good, they give me everything. My pace is good, my goals, when I shoot I feel good with the boots and the boots are so beautiful.

"I'm so proud to be part of this family and the new product."

On the back of the boots it reads "El Sueño Del Niño" which translates to "dream of the child", because it was Ronaldo's dream to play for Real Madrid.

"Each boot has history," added Ronaldo. "It's good because I'm a part of that, the history - I'm a part of the boot.
