Sadio Mane sends 300 Liverpool shirts to his hometown fans — and he had a special message for them

Liverpool face Real Madrid in Saturday's UEFA Champions League final

The 26-year-old says he wants the village to cheer his team as they look to beat 12-times champions Real Madrid at the Olympic Stadium in Kiev.

"There are 2,000 in the village. I bought 300 Liverpool jerseys to send to the people in the village, so the fans can wear them to watch the final," he said.

"Nobody in the village will work this day (Saturday). I will be going back in the summer after the World Cup and hopefully I will be showing everyone a medal."
