Take a look at the gorgeous $524 million arena the Milwaukee Bucks are building in the city's downtown area

Renderings show a gorgeous glass building with rustic features, open concourses, and views of the action from all angles.

The Milwaukee Bucks were told by the NBA in 2013 that their current home, the BMO Harris Bradley Center, was no longer fit for the league.

After years of negotiating, they sealed a deal to build a new home for 2018, a still unnamed arena in the heart of downtown Milwaukee.

The arena comes with a complex of commercial and residential building that will cost $524 million, with $250 million coming from taxpayers, that the team and city thinks will provide a boost to the economy.

Despite the controversial background of the under-construction arena (set to be open in Fall 2018), the renderings show a gorgeous, glass building with rustic features, big, open concourses, and views of the action from all angles.

The main building boasts a sort of rustic look with giant windows overlooking the complex.

It's located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee, near the Milwaukee River. The entire area will also have an entertainment block with restaurants, shops, and commercial and residential space.

The arena's capacity is only 17,500, making it one of the smallest in the NBA. The small size is meant to assure good views from every seat.

The BMO club is an event-level club that will have windows to the Bucks' locker room tunnel.

Much of the concourse also has views of the court, making the arena more like a baseball stadium.

The entertainment block will feature restaurants and shopping.

The entertainment block also has a beer garden, true to Milwaukee's culture.

The beer garden also has a rustic look and is sure to draw fans hoping to watch the game.
