Trump hosted 18 NCAA championship winning teams to celebrate their titles — and the photos were great

Everyone from the Texas A&M women's equestrian team to the Utah ski team were ready to have their photo op with the president.

President Trump hosted 18 championship teams at the White House on Sunday, posing for photos, shaking hands, cracking jokes, and congratulating the student-athletes on their success.

With teams representing rowing, equestrian, skiing, and most everything in between, Trump made the rounds while showing the young champions around the White House.

Below we've gathered some of the best photos from the day.

Meeting with the Penn State Men's Wrestling team, Trump struck a pose ready to grapple. The Nittany Lions beat Ohio State back in March to take home their title.

Trump examined a softball glove from the University of Oklahoma, who beat the Florida Gators to win their NCAA championship in June.

He also posed with the University of Florida baseball team in the East Room of the White House, alongside Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos.

Trump tried out his volleyball skills with the championship-winning Ohio State University men's team out on the South Lawn.

In the Rose Garden, the Penn State women's rugby team gifted the president a shirt with "Mr. President" written on the back.

Back on the South Lawn, Trump conversed with the women's rowing team of the University of Washington.

Washington earned their title back in May, when they swept their races at the NCAA Rowing Championship.

Alongside the University of Maryland's women's lacrosse team, Trump apparently told a joke, much to the delight of his audience.

The president also complimented the Trump-themed tie of Maryland men's lacrosse player Dylan Maltz. Maltz scored two goals for the Terps in their 9-6 championship win over Ohio State.

And finally, Trump and DeVos joined the Utah ski team in making the "U" symbol while hosting the team.
