Masiyiwa who is now valued at a net worth of $1.7 billion which saw him ranked by Forbes as the 14th richest person in Africa has a grand plan how the continent can properly equip them with necessary skills.

“They got to be learning throughout their lives, this idea of education finishes when you are 18 or 23, we acquire some knowledge and we go out and think we are done that is not real anymore.

All of us have to have a lifetime of learning, it is like you gonna be doing a degree every five years.

Put it in another way we got to be learning it is a lifetime thing we shouldn't sit back and say but I am 55years old and I don’t understand computers, well it doesn’t matter now we are living up to 100 years so you are only half way there okay, you will die poor if you don’t get off and start learning so all of us must embrace continuous learning.”

Strivia was speaking during Kwese #GoGettaz competition held at Strathmore Business School where twelve contestants from across Africa were battling to pitch their business ventures to a panel of judges for a chance to win $100,000 seed capital and further get a two-week mentorship opportunity with him.
