President Uhuru Kenyatta will not be attending the Presidential debate scheduled to happen on 24 July, 2017.

Divulging the information State House Communication Director Dennis Itumbi mentioned that the President will instead be carrying out door-to-door political campaigns.

Mr Itumbi was responding to National Super Alliance (NASA) leaders who challenged the Head of State to confirm attendance.

"President  Uhuru Kenyatta will not attend the debate on 24th. He will be engaging the people of Kenya directly at their homes and markets," Itumbi tweeted.
