The controversy started after flamboyant lawyer Donald Kipkorir, who has openly supported NASA leader Raila Odinga’s presidential bid, ridiculed Ahmednasir Abdullahi for complaining on Twitter after losing the Presidential petition at the Supreme Court.
Kipkorir tweeted, “IEBC & UK's lawyers are busy tweeting from Court besmirching the majority decision. What a cheap way to justify their losing ”
The remark did not go down well with Abdullahi, a senior counsel who led President Uhuru Kenyatta's legal team. He responded with a ruthless tackle, “This type of case you will handle in your next life…way above your level…”

A resilient Kipkorir quickly got back on his feet and attempted a comeback, “Your contribution to jurisprudence in this country is zero…I have done more constitutional cases than you…Google Kenya Law Reports."
It was at this point that State House official Dennis Itumbi intervened, throwing his fair share of shade at the flamboyant lawyer.
Itumbi, who is the Director of Digital Communication in the Presidential Strategic Communication Unit (PSCU), ridiculed ardent NASA by wondering out loud if Kipkorir’s colleagues had to resort to Google to understand his legacy as a lawyer.
"Even fellow Lawyers have to google to know your contribution?" the PSCU director queried.
Itumbi’s statement seemingly did not augur well with the flamboyant advocate who quickly blocked him on Twitter.
