Speaking on Thursday, the former Prime Minister demanded to see female supporters strip and show their panties as an expression of their anger against the IEBC.
Odinga also told his supporters to turn out in large numbers to ensure the electoral body heeds to NASA’s call for the polls commission to meet what he has termed as “irreducible minimums”.
"Nataka nione chupi ya akina mama. Na nione vijana kwa barabara. Mtafanya hivyo? (crowd cheers back in affirmation) Sawa sawa. Tutaonana baadaye, asanteni sana,"
"I want to see women's underwears. I also want to see the youth in the roads. Will you do that?...Okay, we will meet later, thank you very much," Odinga stated.
The demands include the immediate resignation of IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba, the cancellation of ballot printing tender, cancellation of a tender with French firm OT-Morpho, among others.
The Opposition coalition has for the past two weeks held demonstrations at the IEBC’s headquarters along University Way in Nairobi.
The highlight of one of the protests was when a female NASA supporter was caught on live TV getting rid of her undergarments.
The demonstrations, however, have been marred by tension caused by heavy presence of anti-riot police and the alleged ubiquitous presence of members of the Nairobi Business Community.
Odinga and other NASA principals have kept off the demonstrations slotted for every Monday and Friday after the government moved to withdraw part of their security detail.
