NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga has requested President Uhuru Kenyatta to borrow a leaf from him following the courts 2013 decision which he disagreed with.

Speaking in Mathare, Nairobi County on Sunday, Odinga stated that in 2013, the court upheld his win yet he never went ahead to abuse the judges who made the ruling. The Opposition leader asked the President to respect the law and stop abusing and intimidating Chief Justice David Maraga. "Mr Uhuru Kenyatta, leave Kenyans alone. Do not abuse Justice Maraga,” Odinga said.

The Opposition leader urged Kenyatta to remain calm exuding confidence he would trounce him in the next round of elections.Hours after the ruling, Kenyatta warned Maraga that four people would not change the will of Kenyans. The Head of State went and ahead boldly stated that he would fix the judiciary once he is re-elected."Maraga should know that he is now dealing with a President who is fully sat on the presidency. We are getting back to work, it's campaign time and I still remain the President ready to battle it out with the few individuals."I've always said we have a problem with our Judiciary. We shall respect the ruling but we will revisit this agenda because we have to respect the will of the people," the President said. The supreme court annulled Kenyatta's victory on grounds that the General Election was not conducted in accordance with the law.

"Presidential election was not conducted in accordance to the Constitution. The results are null and void," The CJ said when he delivered his ruling.IEBC was ordered to conduct fresh polls in the next 60 days.
