Odinga jetted back from Britain on Saturday night and proceeded to Mombasa where he addressed a rally at Mama Ngina grounds.
Prior to the rally, the former Prime Minister had attended a church service at Neno Evangelist Church Centre in Tudor where he was made to recite a prayer of salvation.
“Kwa jina la Yesu nakupa maisha yangu, unipe nguvu, unishindanie na unisamehe makosa yangu Baba. Kuanzia leo, unisiache pekee yangu, niwe na wewe. (In the name of Jesus I surrender my life to You, give me strength to overcome and forgive me Lord. From this day, do not forsake me and let me remain in You for ever,” Odinga prayed in a ceremony presided by Bishop Robert Wafula.
The NASA leader would later take to his Twitter account where he appeared to be take a jibe at his rivals in Jubilee.
"Mlevi hatatizi safari yetu tena #MolaNiYuleYule," he tweeted.
The controversial tweet received wild reactions with some castigating the stamen while others agreed with the former premier.
