Kenyans react after Uhuru announces an important decision he is about to make

With 12 days to election Uhuru is about to make a major decision. This is what Kenyans have to say about it.

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday left Kenyans talking after informing them of a crucial decision he was about to make ahead of the October 26 presidential election.

On his Twitter handle, Mr Kenyatta mentioned that he had received the highly disputed Election Laws (Amendment) Bills 2017 form Parliament.

According to the President he was still going through the details of the Bill before appending his signature.

“I have received the Election Laws (Amendment) Bills 2017 from Parliament, I am now perusing it, as required by law," he tweeted.

A section advised the Head of State to think about the legacy he would leave behind if he signed the controversial Bill.

A tweep asked president Kenyatta to consider dialogue with NASA which has emphatically opposed the amanemdnets.

The amendments to the Electoral Laws just days to the fresh election has caused a great rift between Jubilee and NASA leaders.

The Opposition legislators ignored the Parliamentary and Senate session discussing the Bill noting that it was malicious for Jubilee to try and change the Law at a time the country was headed to the ballot.

NASA Principal Raila Odinga sharply condemned the move stating that Jubilee was simply using its numbers to change the rules of the elections.
