Corazon Kwamboka has finally been admitted to the bar.

The popular socialite, event host and fashion entrepreneur made the step up today morning as she joined a number of graduates from LSK who were being sworn to the Kenyan Bar.

The elated Corazon was quick and delighted to break the news to her legion of fan online with a short comment. Her beaming face captured the full story.

This new achievement not only adds to her profile but confounds the rumors that the former UON student had not attended the Kenya School of Law having been satisfied with her career trajectory.

Other sources had intimated that Corazon Kwamboka had been denied admission to the bar and even entry to the KSL.

Corazon Kwamboka had already raised eyebrows regarding her potential career as a lawyer first when she published an article on Nation commenting on a Landmark high court ruling.

Then there was an article about her in Nairobi Business monthly titled Socialite or advocate, certainly not both. The article was among the voices which played down her chances of being admitted arguing;

“That she publicly practiced and enjoyed the fruits of her trade, that she enjoys an alarming notoriety of expertise in a trade that the lay public considers a locus classicus for prostitution however, presents a very serious stumbling block to any argument she might want to put across in her defense. For the public, a night nurse? Practicing advocacy? Now that is enough to throw a profession into disrepute – enough a ground to warrant non-admission!”

It is in a way a precedent, especially for a profession where most members lead a low key private life.

The bar is about to get a mix of brain which it always has had and an unadulterated pounds of intoxicating sexiness it will sure take time to adopt to.
