Aisha to host new show

KTN life and style co-host Aisha Wanjiku has landed a new job.

She will be hosting a new music show dubbed ‘Gani kali’ that airs every Monday to Wednesday at 10:00- 11:00 AM on Maisha Magic East.

Aisha announced the news on her social media. The show is an entertaining one and the content that is aired puts into consideration the African culture.

‘Gani Kali’ is an East African Swahili Magazine show where music East Africa is played.

Aisha told Pulse Live Kenya she is still a host at KTN Life and Style but is currently not on air.

The bubbly TV presenter just like many other people hustled her way up and went through challenges. She opened up to the Standard last year.

The proud mother revealed she got pregnant at 19 while still in campus. She had a really rough time since her then boyfriend left her for his ex. Also considering she is Muslim, pregnancy before marriage is a big mistake. It is considered as a shameful act.

Aisha informed her mother after discovering she was pregnant. The KTN life and style co-host then transferred from Multi Media University to Mombasa Polytechnic. She was mocked, tormented and developed depression during her first trimester.

Owing to the negative energy around her, she acquired ‘don’t care’ attitude over time. Aisha later got a lot of counseling from her lecturer in school.

The talented host disagreed with her mother regarding bringing up her child. Her mother treated her as a child.

After her college friend assured her she will give her a job she immediately moved to Nairobi and that’s how her hustling began.
