On Thursday, 19th April 2018, the Bongo star tied knots with his Kenyan fiancée in a wedding that took place in Masjid Ummul Kulthium mosques; a mosque built in honor Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho's mother. Later there was a reception at Diamond Jubilee hall in Kongowea as per the Swahili traditions.
Amiya, King Kiba’s daughter penned down a sweet message to her dad to laud him and further wished him well. Her message was:
“Congratulations and hope you have a good new life ~ Love Amiya Congratulations i hope you have a wonderful day love you xx Love from Aaliyah good luck”

Tanzanian pop star Diamond Platnumz also took his time to wish the Bongo star well. It came unexpectly since it is believe d the two do not see each other eye to eye owing to where they both stand in the music Industry.

Diamond through his 4.6M Instagram page wished the ‘Seduce me’ star well and blessed him as he officially moves to the next step in life.
He posted:
