Kenyan DJ Kalonje, Chipukeezy and YY the comedian made history after being the first Kenyans to be interviewed on the BET Awards Experience.

DJ Kalonje took to his social media account to share his joy of becoming the first Kenyan DJ to feature on the BET Experience interview.

“The First Kenyan DJ to be interviewed in the B.E.T Awards” captioned DJ Kalonje on his Facebook account.

On the other hand YY the comedian also bragged about his experience at the BET Awards saying “So after the Quick interview at the BET awards 2017...Nilimkatia..siwezi angusha wakenya”

The three got the opportunity to attend the 2017 BET Awards an event that lifted their profiles in the society.

Apart from the Kenyans at BET, Tanzanian singer Rayvanny also made history after winning the prestigious Viewer’s Choice Best New International Act.

According to the hitmaker of “Kwetu” he has been working on a project with USA singer Jason Derulo, a thing that forced the two to trans nights in the studio.
