Why I called my mum a b*tch - Akothee's daughter

Celly Rue has disclosed why she used the offensive word on her mum.

An act that is a death wish in many African households but not in Akothee’s household where it’s a term of endearment so when she referred to her mum as a b*tch she meant a friend.

Speaking to PulseMagazine Celly said “Yes I did (call my mum a b*tch). My post read b*tch you are making too much noise. My mum and I are very close to the extent that that to us is not an offensive word. It’s more like calling her a friend. A blog, however, took it up and thought that I was being disrespectful but what they don’t know is that that is how my mother and I relate.”

The model also disclosed that though her mother has a free relationship with her children she is also very strict.

“ She is actually a very strict woman. I think that is the reason why none of my siblings are dating. We do not have a house-help as many think. We do our own laundry as well as cook for ourselves. She is above all loving caring and fun to be with.” Rue disclosed to the Magazine.
