1.Ajuma Nasenyana
Some Western media houses painted Ajuma as a desolate girl from a remote Turkana village who enjoyed a meteoric rise to the top and signed with top agencies in New York, Paris, Milan, London and South Africa.

Well as it turns out, this beautiful model went to the prestigious Greensteds International School in Nakuru whose school fees is about 2.6 Million per year.
2. Size 8
Size 8 was a very brilliant student who got a scholarship to State House girls before moving to Hillcrest due to her performance in the arts.
At Hillcrest, Size 8 admitted that she got the biggest shock of her life as she used a matatu school while some people at Hillcrest used choppers to school.
“Back then State House Girls haikuwa na mabarbie vile, though the rich walinishtua sana! However, when I got a scholarship to attend Hillcrest, I have to admit – I suffered a culture shock of my life! I was flabbergasted – students came from very affluent families! Wanafunzi walikuwa wanaletwa mpaka na chopper na saa hizo mimi ni mtoto wa Maringo… Then they spoke in deep English accents, you can just imagine!” She revealed to Citizen.

3. Edith Kimani
Just like Size 8, Edith Kimani’s drama talent earned her a scholarship to join the school located in the leafy Nairobi suburb of Karen.
At Hillcrest, they got to perform together in a school production called ‘Little Shop of Horrors'. Edith shared a photo on stage with Size 8 captioning it “Recognise my acting buddy @size8reborn? This picture was taken in 2009. We were on stage waiting to sing our hearts out in the school production of 'little shop of horrors'. Kweli tumetoka mbali. #TBT"

Rusinga School was where this Citizen TV news anchor spent her early years, she was a desk mate to Citizen’s Waihiga Mwaura and they recently had the pleasure of being on screen together.

“Gosh, Higgz we’ve known each other too long! Who knew that copying my History notes in Year 9 would bring us here. To this studio. To this very moment! When we would take a selfie and tell the whole world that we’ve known each other way too long.” Anne wrote in one of her social media accounts.
5. Elodie Zone
This Kenyan You Tuber attended the prestigious Braeburn and Brookhouse Schools. But life was not rosy in these prestigious schools as she said she suffered the worst form of bullying here. In an Instagram post, Elodie confessed “ It's interesting because I remember every single person that ever bullied me growing up. I remember their names, faces and remember all of the mean remarks they made either to my face or behind my back.
So what I do, I do for all the kids out there that are like me and who have always been outcasts. Braeburn Garden Estate and Brookhouse are the two schools where I met 99% of the people that attacked me almost every day, but if I could get out of it and come out stronger, then so can you.”
The bullying got so bad that she had no friends and resorted to YouTube as she has no one to talk to.

6. Nick Mutuma
The ‘Shuga’ actor and former ‘Masahriki Mix’ host attended Braeside which is part of the Braeburn Group of International Schools and is located off Muthangari Road, Lavington.Before that, he attended The International School of Tanganyika.
7. Janet Mbugua
Joining the high-end school's list is Janet Mbugua who went to Brookhouse. The Citizen News anchor recently paid a visit to her former school and seemed pretty stoked to be back at the school where she was attending the school’s Rhino Cup Debating Challenge.
8. Jeff Koinange

He is one of Kenya’s most accomplished Kenyan journalists as he has an Emmy & Peabody Award in his name. He worked for CNN before coming back to Kenya following a scandal. In Kenya, he took a second shot at fame and became a talk show host for ‘The Bench’ on K24, before moving to KTN and then Citizen TV. He is also the author of critically acclaimed biography ‘Through My African Eyes’.
He studied at St Mary’s which was also attended by Lupita Nyong’o.
9. Michelle Morgan
When she made her debut as a business anchor on Citizen TV, many people were awed by her beauty, class and foreign accent. As it turns out, she got the accent from her upbringing and the schools he attended. She did her A levels at Hillcrest Secondary School before joining Middlesex University for a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Advertising and Applied communication.

The president of Kenya attended the prestigious St Mary’s school alongside Jeff Koinange and Jeff claimed that Uhuru bullied him back in the day.
In an interview with Kiss 100's Jeff Mote, Jeff revealed that Uhuru gave him grief back in St Mary’s as he was few classes ahead.
“Boss, Uhunye alinihanda ndani ya minibus ya shule bwana (Uhuru used to bully me in the school minibus). Can you imagine that he is now the President?” He said.
11. Ian Munene
He played a rich yet humble kid called Almasi in the hit TV show Machachari before leaving. As it turns out just like his character he is well-heeled and studied at one of Kenya’s most expensive schools, Brookhouse.
