Diamond’s message to Clouds Media Owner years after his Radio and TV stations stopped playing his music

For years Clouds TV/Radio has not been playing Diamond songs

On Thursday, Diamond’s media company (WASAFI TV) through its official Instgram account, shared a #TBT video of legendary singer Dully Sykes dubbed “Ladies Free” attracting Mr Kusaga’s attention.

Seeing the comment of the Clouds Media CEO, Diamond decided to use the platform to appreciate his contribution in the Tanzanian media and Music industry.

“Tungepata watu wa 5 tu Kama wewe...Husda na Chuki za bila sababu zingefutika kabisa Nchini Tanzania.... Vijana wengi wangekuwa na Maendeleo na Kunufaika kwa Matunda ya juhudi za kazi zao.... Shukran kwa Support na Moyo wako” reads Diamond’s message to Joe Kusaga.

The song Ladies Free by Dully Sykes was released in 2015 and received massive airplay across East Africa.

WCB Omission

In February, Diamond’s manager Sallam SK, took to his Instagram account to announce that he was going to name and expose people who have been exploiting the music industry.

“BREAKING NEWS: Saa moja kamili Usiku wa leo nakuja na makala maalumu naomba muweke bando, na simu full charge, notification ON. ” wrote Sallam Sk.

Music Cartels

After a few hours Sallam came up with a new update stating that he had put on hold his efforts to expose the cartels in their music industry.

Despite, putting on hold his biggest announcement, it was revealed that the the head of Programmes at Clouds Media Group Ruge Mutahaba was at the centre of bringing down WCB Stars.

He added that he had been advised by Joe Kusaga not let the information out.
