The Minister added that Diamond will also be tasked to ensure that the Tanzanian Music Industry observe the rules put in place by producing songs that don't go against their culture.

This comes after the singer held a closed door meeting in company of his three managers Sallam SK, Babu Tale and Mkubwa Fella and government officials and resolved to lift the ban imposed on his two songs Waka Waka and Halleluyah.
“The assistant Minister insisted that Musicians should follow the right procedures when releasing their songs to avoid clashing with the law in future. She added that all songs that had been banned will be played again on TV under the water shade period so that kids don’t watch them” reads Part of the statement
In the statement Diamond has agreed to work closely with the Assistant Minister Dr. Juliana Sonza after resolving their differences.

Naye Waziri Mwakyembe alisisitiza kuwa serekali haina ugomvi wowote na wanasana nchini bali ina tatizo na mmonyoko wa maadili ya kitanzania nchini na kwamba kila mwanasanaa ana wajibu kulinda maadili ambayo ni sehemu ya utamaduni wetu.
