This comes after, Interior and Coordination Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i maintained that all media houses will remain closed until further notice.

"The Government was and is aware of the role of some elements in the media fraternity who participated in furtherance of this illegal act. Their complicity would have led to thousands of deaths of innocent Kenyans due to the buildup of the incitement that was witnessed in early hours of the morning of 30 January 2018,” he said.

On Tuesday, the Government shut down KTN, KTN News, NTV and Citizen TV's on both the free-to-air and paid platforms in a bid to restrict the swearing-in ceremony of Mr Odinga.
