Tough Times ahead

Kisaka revealed that they will investigate the radio station basing on the fact that it operates under the Authority and their interview was portrait in manner of demeaning the Assistant Minister for Information, Art, sports and Culture Dr. Juliana Sonza.

He added that their mandate as an authority will be to investigate the radio station on how it's using their airwaves.

During the Interview Diamond responded to Dr. Sonza after she had banned two of his songs and other 15 artists.

In his statement, the WCB president stated that he had not received any official communication from the ministry that his songs had been banned.

that our songs have been restricted with reasons stated but that has not yet been done. I will be having a seat down with the Minister in Charge the Ministry of Sports and Culture so that we can exchange ideas on what the music market look like at the moment. Currently am doing music for both local and international Market. So limiting me on what to do sometimes will not help our brand to grow. “said Diamond Platnumz

This comes after the Minister for Information Dr. Harrison Mwakyeke advised Diamond not to fight or compete with the government.

Dr. Mwakyeke stated that he had been pissed off by Diamond’s act of undermining the Assistant Minister of Information.

Simba and the Tanzanian Assistant Minister of Information Juliana Shonza have been confronting each other following the ban of his two songs WAKA WAKA and Halleluyah.

“We cannot have law for other musicians and law for Diamond alone. I think these are signs and symptoms of starting to get drunk over fame. Diamond is neither the leader of the musicians’ organization nor the spokesperson.” said Dr. Mwakyeke
