Her daughter Amina Khalef and Ali Kiba officiated their marriage in a lavish wedding that took place on Thursday, 20 April 2018.
The event was held at Masjid Ummul Kulthium mosques and thereafter a reception at Diamond Jubilee hall in Kongowea.
Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho jetted back to the country from France to attend the ceremony. The two (Ali Kiba and Joho) have had close ties for some time.

A Tanzanian media outlet disclosed that all Amina’s mother knew was her daughter was getting married to a Tanzanian lad but she had no clue that it was Ali Kiba.
The ‘Seduce me’ heavy hitter and her fiancée dated since 2016 before formalizing their marriage. They kept their relationship a secret despite Ali Kiba’s star status.
Amina revealed that she met King Kiba during his frequent trips to Mombasa when Governor Ali Hassan Joho was campaigning.
The special reason why the new couple settled on 19 April as their wedding day was because Ali Kiba’s parents had their wedding the same day.
