Irene Uwoya who is married to Tanzanian hip hop artiste Dogo Janja said that the tattoo symbolized that Agnes Masogange continues to live in her heart and she will forever remember their friendship while she was still alive.

“Nimechora tatuu ya Masogange siku hisi maumivu kama niliyosikia nilipochora tatuu nyingine mwilini mwangu, nafikiri ni kutokana na uchungu mkali niliokuwa nao na kingine ni kwamba nimechora jina hili mkononi mwangu najua kila nikiangalia nitapata Amani ya moyo,” she said.
After her burial Uwoya posted Masogange’s photo which she captioned, “”

Agnes Masogange passed away last Friday at the Mama Ngoma hospital in Tanzania after suffering from Asthma and low blood count.
