Jalang’o who spoke on the ‘a story a day’ program on Hot 96 disclosed that in a good week he can get up to four pairs of shoes and sometimes gets them from his friends who ask him to post them of social media as endorsements.
He added that his love for shoes started from the time he joined secondary school which was the first time he put on his first pair of shoes and he is only compensating for the years he never had any shoes at all.

“My love for shoes started when I joined Form One. My dad had fund raised to take me to school and that’s when he got me my first pair of shoes. I’m just compensating for the years I never had shoes. Currently, I have 3,212 pairs of shoe,” he said.
Jalang’o also said that memories of poverty make him work harder to ensure that he does not lack the good things in life that he never had before.
The father of one recently announced that he will soon quit radio to venture into politics and will vie for the Lang’ata Parliamentary seat.
