Gone are the days when proposals were unexceptional. Everyday, we get to witness majestic and extraordinary proposals that often go viral on social media.

We saw Lonina get down on one knee and propose to Sharon Mundia by Lake Michaelson in Mount Kenya after a helicopter ride. And we are yet to forget the biker proposal at The Hub Karen.

Now the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) came to a standstill after Antony Buluma Samba got down on one knee to propose to Gettie Nthiiri who works in parliament.

Antony a former U.S.I.U student was flanked by friends and family who carried placards written “Gettie will you marry me?”

And the surprised lady said 'yes' in a proposal that left many people witnessing it excited since we all love a beautiful love story.

After getting engaged to Gettie, Bulama said“This is God’s doing. I give Him the glory. He is worthy to be praised. Thank you all who took part in making this real. To Gettie Nthiiri you are my choice. I found you and discovered a beautiful thing. You are my love; may God be our guide”
