Started from the bottom now I am here!
And the latest to share his inspirational story is Larry Madowo. The NTV news anchor revealed that when he finished high school he sold mandazi and tea at Gikomba market to make ends meet.
“My first job straight out of high school was selling tea and mandazi at Gikomba.” He disclosed as he returned for a shoot at the busy market.
And Larry has come a long way from his mandazi-selling days as he has worked for some of the most reputable media houses in the continent like KTN, NTV and CNBC. He has also successfully hosted two popular shows ‘The Trend’ and ‘Side Bar’ on NTV.
