Madam Boss This is how much Akothee pays her workers

It's exciting to be Akothee's employee...

Akothee has become disgruntled over the fact that music in Kenya does not pay much.

And so she took to social media to express her dissatisfaction with the peanuts she has received  in the name of royalties.

Sharing a photo taken at her farm, Akothee wrote: “Don’t ask me about music right now, the last cheque I received from MCSK was Sh 56,000 in October last year.”

She then went on to add that the money she got from MCSK is not even enough to pay all her domestic employees as it can only pay 2 workers. Meaning that her workers get paid some good money if 56,000 Kshs is divided between two people.

“This is a salary for only 2 of my domestic employees per month; this can’t even pay my photographer. So leave me alone, listen to the ones on YouTube, like baby daddy link on my bio & the rest, leave music, for now, will collect it next month awards are coming give me what you think I deserve.”

For now, Akothee seems focused on her farm which she admits has yielded good money.

“ Harvested a total of 25 pieces of pineapples that’s equivalent to 5000ksh , haki ingenitatulia shida ndogo ndogo za jikoni kama vile mafuta, unga ngano na makaa, kuliko kuomba omba mzee , jamani saa zingine wanaume wana majibu, kisha niende pale kwa kuku, nimchinje kamoja , niingie shambani nimchune skuma , jamani familia si itaona krismas daily , #povertyisnotastatusitsamindset”
