Her birthday party was attended by notable names in the media industry and her colleagues at the RMS. They included KTN’s Betty Kyallo, Jeff Koinange, Terryanne Chebet, Jacque Maribe, Kirigo Ng’arua, Bernard Ndong, Stephen Letoo and Hassan Mugambi among others.
Former Citizen TV news anchor Terryanne Chebet who is also one of her close friends wished her a happy birthday and this is what she had to say, “There are not many things in life that are constant. Friends come and go, but you .... were sent to me by God himself. I sometimes do not know what I did to deserve such a loving, selfless friend who has been by my side since our first internship at KBC in 2002. I love you, and as you turn a year older, I pray that God bless you a hundred fold. May we grow old enough to laugh with at at our wazees and great great grandchildren together. Happy Birthday my Friend.”
