The Trend's Njambi Koikai responds after being accused of conning Kenyans 8 Million

She was exposed on a Facebook page called 'Buyer Beware'.

According to the post that has now widely circulated on social media, the Koikai family was fleecing Kenyans by asking for Sh10 Million for Njambi’s thoracic endometriosis surgery in the USA when all was required was 2 Million Shillings.

Njambi has responded to the damning accusations terming them as false information and accused her close relatives of spreading malicious and damaging information.

“It has come to my attention that false information is being shared about the cost of my treatment. I've shared my journey from 2015 and the public is aware of this endometriosis battle. My Mom, my sis and I have met all our medical bills even after my grandmother passed away. It's also quite disappointing to note that close relatives, who have not been supportive are spreading malicious and damaging information.” Part of her post read.

She then went on to add “It is with utmost sincerity that I came out to ask for help because thoracic endometriosis is a rare condition and the specialists dealing with it are in America.

This journey has been a treacherous one but with the support of the millions of Kenyans, I will get treated and come back to help other women facing this condition.

Thank you for your support this far. God bless you.”
