Celebrated Kenyan Singer Otile Brown has sparked wild reactions after expressing his frustration in the way promoters have been treating and paying Kenyan Musicians peanuts.

In a well written post on his Instagram account, Otile has called out artists to respect their hustle and demand what is best for them.

According to Otile, artistes in Kenya are always paid peanuts with a promise from promoters that they will be given more gigs.

He added that someone has been threatening him simply because his manager hanged up on him after he tried to pull a stunt on them.

“Ni sawa but wen it comes to me, bruh! you’ll respect me .. They say niko na kichwa ngumu na Maringo/Madharau coz am so strict when it comes to my job and now someone is threatening me coz my manager hanged up on him after his team tried to pull a stunt on us being so unprofessional, brah get over your feelings and bring it on , I don’t care brah , I work so hard you are going to respect my grind .. The bold statement prompted Kenyans to join the conservation and castigate promoters who have been overlooking local celebrities.
