Bishop's surprising message after his mum was murdered in cold blood

We later came to learn that the 73 year old matriarch had been murdered by her watchman and buried in a shallow grave. The watchman and daughter in law were suspects in the heinous murder in Karega village in Kigumo and were taken into custody.

Following this tragic news, Bishop Pius Muiru has broken his silence and eulogised his mum. Despite the tragic way the mum passed away, Bishop Muiru surprised many with his positivity and tranquillity in a situation that demands bitterness and anger.

" We praise God in all situations which make us true sons and daughters of the Lord. It is with deep sorrow that I want to let you know that my mother has gone to be with the Lord.

We do not mourn because of her departure but we rejoice for the years God gave her to us to celebrate, sharpen, laugh, pray, fellowship and even spend time with her.

Meetings for funeral arrangements will be held from today at Clarion Hotel 2nd floor from 6 -8 pm, along Moi Avenue opposite Jeevanjee gardens.

May her soul rest in eternal peace. We bless God in all situations." he wrote.
