The strict rules that were employed during Uhuru’s son’s wedding

Jomo and Achola's wedding

The event still remains top secret with no photos anywhere to confirm that it indeed took place. The wedding happened and was an invite only ceremony.

Usually weddings have pre-invitations that are always indicated where the vows will take place and even a reception location. Well for this particular white wedding, the invitation card did not indicate the location of the ceremony. The venue was later communicated to those invited and they were requested not to spread the whereabouts.

There were two strict rules that were enforced in the royal wedding. Mobile phones were strictly not allowed in the ceremony. Security checks were thorough. Media people were not invited neither were they allowed to access the location except the official camera men who filmed the wedding.

According to the Star, The bridal party wore baby pink, which was the wedding theme. Jomo and Achola exchanged vows then there were fireworks. The reception was the same venue they said 'I do'. Reports indicate it took place in Statehouse.

The exquisite white wedding happened after a traditional ‘Itara’ wedding that headlined tabloids for weeks. The event took place in Uhuru’s Ichaweri home in Gatundu.

Jomo and Achola were blessed with a child in November 2017. The baby girl is President Uhuru’s first grandchild. The baby was named Wanjiru. The now 6-month-old baby was part of the exclusive wedding.

Excitement rocked the Kenyatta family and the president took pictures with doctors and nurses of Aga Khan Hospital where the child was born.
