Sanaipei Tande defends decision to get ‘married’ to singer Otile Brown

Has she found her ‘Mfalme wa Mapenzi’?

This is because the two had never gone public with their relationship and Otile Brown had expressed that he had no interest in dating during a previous interview.

“I have committed my time on music career right now. Other things are side shows. That includes dating.” He told SDE.

Social media commentators said that the wedding was a way to promote an upcoming video since many Kenyan artistes have been known to drop wedding pictures then release a video.

The two have now refuted claims that the ‘leaked’ pics are a publicity stunt. Speaking to Word Is, Sanaipei Tande claimed that the wedding was a private affair and that is why it came as a surprise to fans. “When you're getting married, you don't tell the whole world. Ni kitu ya chini ya maji, haiongelewi. Pregnancy ni siri. Ndoa pia ni siri. Ni mambo ya kurealise it's an intimate thing, for close family. I've always been private on that sector of my life. These things are not shared.” She said.

On critics slating their age gap (Sana is 33 and Otile is 23,  Sanaipei Tande responded with “It is none of their business. People do what they want to do. Me, I'm not in anyone's business, that is why it was a private affair.”

For Otile Brown, he asserted that he had found a partner for life in Sanaipei. “Nampenda (Sanaipei) kwa sababu yuko tofauti, she's real.” He said.

Is their marriage real or staged? Only time will tell.
