Sophie who broke the sad News via her Twitter account express the pain of losing a loved one at the time her family needed him most.

“My dad Stephen Uno rests in peace now. He has fulfilled the purpose for which he was created. Honesty was his mantra. Rip,” Sophie posted on twitter

Sophie Ikenye who enjoys the environments of the leading media house in the world BCC has created a name for herself in the competitive Media industry.

The Sad Sophie went ahead to reveal the good times she used to have with his Dad and the lessons she learned from him.

“I don’t post much about my family but i’d like you to know that my dad rests in peace now. He has fulfilled the purpose for which he was created. He taught us many things, one of which is to be strong and the other to be honest in this life. Till we meet again. Thank you for your prayers over my family.” Captioned Ikenye.

Sophie Ikenye hosts a programme on BBC titled Focus on Africa and was recently named in the inaugural list of 100 Most Influential Young Africans.

Ikenye who happens to be an alumni of the famous media school; Kenya Institute of Mass Communication is scaling high yet again due to her unique personality when it comes to TV.

The late was the father to presenter Sophie Ikenye, Ikenye Kemu, Njeri Ikenye and Ngugi Ikenye.
