Former Citizen TV anchor reveals the only thing that can get her back on TV

It has to be this way

“Everything comes in its own time and I’m in a different space now, I’m really enjoying that space. I think I was in a comfort zone in the media and I felt that I needed that kick to get my energy back on and I really enjoy it. So If I do go back into the media, it has to be something that will excite me again,” she said.

She added that losing her job at Citizen TV at the time when she thought she was good at her job was her biggest challenge and that it has taught her a lot of things.

"I think things happen the way they should happen. If I did not lose my job perhaps I would have to wait a couple of years to get another baby. It was difficult balancing family and work,” she said.

Terryanne Chebet was fired from Royal Media Services' Citizen TV where she worked as a business news anchor and reporter as the company sent people home in a restructuring that saw the then Power Breakfast show co-host and news anchor Kirigo Ng’arua also sent home along with other employees.
