President Uhuru Kenyatta has send a special message to Gospel stars Rufftone and Daddy Owen following the death of their father.
Through his Twitter handle, Uhuru send his condolences to the gospel stars and their family at large stating that he has been saddened by the death of their father Mzee Josephat Mwatia.
“Deeply saddened by the death of Mzee Josephat Mwatia, father of gospel artists Rufftone and Daddy Owen. May God comfort the grieving family.” Twitted President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The gospel musicians lost their dad following a cardiac arrest at their home after having dinner with the singers’ mum.
“He was very ok, he had just had dinner with my mother and he excused himself to go to the toilet and the next thing my mother heard him fall. She went to check and found my father on the floor complaining of chest pains and a few seconds later he died.” Daddy Owen.

While a message Posted by Rufftone read “ It is with sadness to inform you that we lost our dad on Saturday night due to a sudden cardiac arrest at our rural home.”
