EXCLUSIVE: Mzazi Willy Tuva reveals why we have never seen his wife

The Radio Citizen presenter has finally disclosed why he keeps his wife of 11 years away from the limelight.

Churchill and Mzazi are very public figures and have been in the industry for more than a decade but we have never seen their wives.

For Mzazi who has been married for 11 years, there is a reason for that, his wife just doesn’t like the limelight.

“I’m the one in the public eye. Everyone has their life. She doesn’t like being in the limelight at all, she wants to live an ordinary life and I respect her choice. She is okay with her kids being in the public eye and she is happy about it but she doesn’t want the limelight. You know how the world judges people. Nowadays on social media, someone might just come and destroy your life since you gave them a chance by exposing your private life. I just respect her choice because she doesn’t want to be in the limelight at all”. He told Pulse Live.

But for his kids, he likes hanging out with them at his workplace and at Mseto events because he would like them to see what he does. “I love my kids a lot and I can say that they are free to follow their dreams. I come with them to studio sometimes, I got to Mseto shoots with them so when they see me on TV, they are like ooh that’s how our dad works.” He said.

The Mambo Mseto pioneer also said that his kids do not have to follow in his path, he will support them in whatever path they chose, something he encourages parents to do.

“My kids are very intelligent. My daughter Tanya is like me she can host, she can present. Tanya is also an artist like me. My son Tinya is also an artist and he is very bright. He likes to read, investigate and listen but has no interest in music or presenting. Tanya also sings. I will support my children in whatever path they choose to take. I want my children to chase their dreams like I did. My dad saw me drawing in the sand and bought me a drawing board so if I see something in my children I just help. So if you are a parent, nurture your children’s talent. It could be everything. They may not grow up to be a pilot or doctor, it could be their God-given talent that will save them.” He added.
