'Womb witch' urges women to drink their own menstrual blood to boost energy levels
Menstrual spirituality has taken the world by storm recently
Nadine Lee, 30, teaches women the world over about “menstruation magic” practices that can be done to improve their health during that time of the month.
Menstrual spirituality has taken the world by storm recently, with women sharing rituals online in a bid to prove periods are nothing to be ashamed of.
Now, Bali-based healer Nadine is teaching her own brand of the movement- including pouring her blood into the earth and drinking it to perk up.
Her comments come hot on the heels of ex-hairdresser Yazmina Jade urging women to use their menstrual blood for facials.
A female spirit healer painted her face with menstruation blood in a 'sacred ritual' designed to break down stigmas surrounding periods.
The feminine spirit healer, based in Australia's Gold Coast, has released footage of her ritual which sparked a backlash on Social Media.
Yazmina has hit back at those who accused her of being 'sick' and 'mental' - claiming she has never felt better than after her apparent act show of defiance.
Yazmina said: "This was a sacred ritual to reconnect with my body. As women, we're deeply disconnected with our bodies because of societal shame.
"I decided to place the blood all over my face, and taste it to reclaim that part of myself. I could truly embody all that I was.
"Through the ritual of painting it on my face, it deepened my bond with my body. I felt this overwhelming love with myself I have never experienced before."
