Prostitutes in Meru offer free sex to help stop bestiality
The move was to save animals the agony they undergo
They said they were ready to offer themselves for free to such men or alternatively ‘service’ them on credit, if that is what it would take for such perverts to give animals a break.
Save the agony
A representative identified as Lydia, said the move was to save animals the agony and save the public the indignity of consuming animal products that were contaminated in such disgusting fashion.
“How will, for instance, one feel if they learnt that the chicken or beef they are consuming or milk came from a cow that has been subjected to that kind of molestation?” she said.
The man from Kibandene village, Igembe South, was found in the act after residents were woken up by continuous barking of dogs in the homestead.
Fear of HIV
The 35-year-old man, who has since been arrested, said he resorted to bestiality for fear of contracting HIV/Aids from women! He also said he was too shy to either approach women or buy contraceptives if he had to sleep with one.
Lydia, in the company of her colleagues at a popular brothel in the town, wondered why the man could not seek help from them whereas they were spending sleepless night without customers in some days.
“We sometimes spend several days without clients and if such a man would approach us with a genuine case, we would have considered it. We have some regular clients whom we serve on credit and pay at the end of the month,” another sex worker, only identified as Kendi, said.
