8 other natural oils you can use in place of coconut oil

There are other oils that have similar properties as coconut oil.

With it having so many benefits, it’s not hard to see why it is a no brainer pick for a lot of people especially when it comes to matters beauty.

There are however some people that aren’t on board the coconut oil train for a number of reasons.

Some may not like the way it smells while others may experience an opposite effect when using coconut oil.

Good thing that there are other alternatives to use in place of coconut oil.

1.Shea butter

Shea butter soothes burns, bites, eczema, psoriasis, cracked skin and dry patches. It also keeps hair free of split ends and gives it a bright sheen.

3.Sweet almond oil

It is easily absorbed into the skin but doesn’t clog the pores of the skin or make it appear oily.

Argan oil can act as natural sun block lotion. It contains vitamin E which is a great anti-oxidant.

Argan oil can also reduce inflammation, minimize the appearance of wrinkles and blemishes. It is also a great facial cleanser thanks to it’s disinfectant and anti-fungal properties.

5.Neem oil

Thanks to it’s antiviral and antibacterial properties, neem oil can help to prevent infections, reduce the appearance of acne, prevent hair loss and strengthen hair follicles.

6.Avocado oil

It contains anti-oxidants, vitamins and organic compounds that are great for moisturizing the skin and protecting it from skin irritation and infections.

7.Olive oil

Extra virgin olive oil is rich in anti-oxidants and minerals that are good for making hair products and cosmetics.

8.Sunflower seed oil
