Why taking coffee that is too hot may be dangerous for your health
You'll never take coffee the same way again.
However, a 2016 World Health Organisation report said that there is no conclusive evidence that drinking coffee can cause cancer.
Although the report stated that a drink that's too hot can lead to cancer of the oesophagus.
The recommended temperature for hot beverages is 65 degrees Celcius.
The ruling was due to a petition Council for Education and Research on Toxics was concerned that coffee retailers weren't warning consumers about what exposure to a chemical acrylamide.
The judge ruled that coffee retailers failed to prove that the chemical didn't pose a threat for coffee drinkers.Acrylamide, which is found in plant foods such as potatoes and coffee, is listed as a chemical that requires a warning label in California.
