They say every woman needs to go through the big chop at least once in her life.

Yeah, I mean cut the hair. They also say (don't ask me who they is) that once a woman cuts her hair, she's reborn. She's reinvented, she's a whole new person.

People cut their hair for many reasons, maybe to join a trend, after hair damage, after a bad breakup or dark phase in life or...you know, just because they're bored of the ever so tedious hair maintenance process. Kenyan fashion blogger Anita Gaitho of Style Sketches, and Siri Studio, a luxe clothing line has joined the short natural hair bandwagon.

That's right. The gorgeous fashionista has joined the likes of Wahu, Joy Kendi, Patriciah Kihoro and Huddah Monroe by cutting her hair. Anita went for a super swanky cut though, nothing ordinary here...the sides are perfectly manicured with designs and the top is a kinky fro. The hairstyle complements her facial features and makes them pop. She's also really dressing up the haircut if I do say so myself. Eish, we just wanna run to the kinyozi and say "Nataka kama hii".
