Y'all, braid wigs are now a thing and that's a reason to celebrate, whoosh!
Lace braid wigs are now a thing and our hairlines are rejoicing
Say goodbye to Kenyatta Market pain
Braids are nice and all but the process of getting them done is a whole different story altogether. You're pinched left and right by those Kenyatta Market women and by the time you've braided three to four times, your hairline is a rumor. Now, we can rejoice because braid wigs have entered the beauty market. How cool that when you feel like rocking braids you can just put on a braid or cornrow braid wig?
Wig braids are coming in different styles, from curly to straight, short to long, plain to colored and you can choose between cornrow wigs and full head braided ones.
Everything nice however, comes at a cost. A braid wig will cost you not less than Kes 7,000/- depending on customization. You can find them on Kenyan Instagram stores that sell wigs or hair shops and some select salons in the city.
Still, I'd like to think it's a nice investment that will come in handy to salvage bad hair days or just for when you need to switch up hairstyles.
Here's how braid wigs look like.
