Denim trends are changing as the years go by.

But I will be honest and say that perhaps it’s time Designers took a break from tweaking how we wear denim, they can like take a small sabbatical and come back when their creative juices are flowing cause surely, detachable pants? Really? Do we need them? Were they made for the average woman or were they meant for the risqué stage look by artistes and creatives?

Just when you think you some of these trends couldn’t get worse they actually do, but, yes, the but had to be coming…people are actually rocking the detachable jeans trend and believe it or not, they're killing it in the jeans. Just in case you’re wondering what the hell I’m talking about, detachable jeans are just like the name suggests, they come in two parts, a tiny denim panty-like upper part and jean bottom which when worn as a complete outfit, gives the illusion of a cut out pair of denim pants. The jeans are a design by Y/Project, a Parisian-based clothing line.

So, while the likes of Gigi Hadid rock the jeans in a casual off-duty model street look, the trend is catching on with the rest of the world. The other day, Tiwa Savage looked so badass in the pants which cost well over USD 300, as well as Beyonce’s sister, Solange who also went for an all-black look.

Other fashionistas are preferring the shorts look which is equally stunning.
